      I have copied these garter hooks with wolf head motif from a Borre style find from Smolenskaya in Russia. The wolf was the symbol of a warrior in the Viking Age. These garter hooks are dated to the 10th century. They can be easily sewn to leather or textile bands to be wrapped around the lower legs.

      Albans design and craftsman ship is fabulous! I have had a pair of these hooks on my leg wraps for over 12 years. And always get compliments on them and have never had a problem with them!
