Viking Double Head Wolf Ring
-
Description
This is my own design. I took as my inspiration rings found from the Iron Age with twin serpent heads. I have designed this double head wolf ring with a viking wolf, originally found on a pendant from Iceland. The wolf - the grey-coated wanderer of Viking legend - was the symbol of the warrior. Dynamic, lithe, a trusted brother in the pack, a fierce opponent: these were the qualities of the wolf that made it such valued totem animal for the Viking Age. Qualities that still find their place in our modern age.
